  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 medium orange, sliced
  • 1 medium lemon, sliced
  • ¼ cup honey or granulated sugar (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a kettle. Once boiling, remove from heat and add black tea bags; steep for about 5 minutes.
  2. While the tea brews, hull and slice the strawberries, and slice the orange and lemon into thin rounds.
  3. After steeping, remove tea bags and allow the tea to cool slightly. In a large pitcher, mix brewed tea with fruit slices.
  4. Stir in honey or sugar if desired until dissolved. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves if using.
