  • 18 (6-inch) corn tortillas
  • 1 (28 oz) can green chile enchilada sauce
  • 1 (16 oz) package shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 (8 oz) container reduced-fat sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a medium baking dish.
  2. Season chicken breasts with garlic salt and bake for about 45 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces after cooling slightly.
  4. Char tortilla halves over an open flame until lightly puffed.
  5. Layer half of enchilada sauce in the baking dish, followed by tortillas, half of the shredded chicken, one-third of cheese, half of sour cream, and one-third of remaining sauce. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
