  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the German chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes until well blended.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow cooling for at least 20 minutes.
