Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (5-7 lbs) boneless turkey breast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can (14 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 packet onion soup seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water

Instructions

  1. Unwrap the turkey breast while keeping the netting on. Place it into a slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the turkey. Rub it in gently to ensure even seasoning.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, onion seasoning mix, and orange juice. Pour this mixture over the seasoned turkey.
  4. Cook on LOW heat for 5-7 hours. The internal temperature should reach at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Once cooked, transfer the turkey breast to a serving plate. Cover it with tin foil to keep warm. Skim any fat from the crock pot juices.
  6. Pour the remaining liquid from the crock pot into a medium saucepan. Mix together cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl. Bring the sauce to a boil, then add in the cornstarch mixture gradually while whisking until thickened for about 1-2 minutes.
  7. Pour some gravy over sliced turkey breast before serving. Place extra gravy in a jar on your serving table for guests to help themselves.
