  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg for filling
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar for cinnamon sugar swirl
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon for cinnamon sugar swirl

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mash bananas; mix in melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; combine with wet ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Beat cream cheese with granulated sugar and an egg until creamy.
  5. Layer half the banana batter into the pan, sprinkle half the cinnamon-sugar mix on top, and spread cream cheese filling over it. Top with remaining banana batter and swirl in remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
