  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line three 8-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, sift together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until just combined. Gradually stir in boiling water until smooth.
  4. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared pans and bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
