- 1/3 cup melted salted butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large beaten egg
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and lightly grease an 8.5×4.5-inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas and mix in the melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Add baking soda, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt; stir until mixed.
- Gradually incorporate the flour while stirring gently; fold in walnuts or chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
