  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup fruit juice or broth
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces toffee chips
  • 1/2 cup pecan pieces (chopped small)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add melted butter, fruit juice or broth, egg, and vanilla; mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture; fold in toffee chips and chopped pecans.
  6. Cover dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours.
  7. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
