Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz steak (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz shell pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the shell pasta in salted boiling water until al dente as per package instructions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Season steak bites with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear the steak for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium; add butter and garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
  6. Serve pasta topped with steak bites and garnish with parsley if desired.
