  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced (optional)
  • 23 radishes, thinly sliced (optional)
  • Lemon wedges for garnish
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon red apple vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish (optional for a little heat)
  • 1 teaspoon sweet pickle relish
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Dash hot sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dressing by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, lemon juice, red apple vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and sweet pickle relish in a bowl. Whisk until smooth and chill in the refrigerator.
  2. On a large platter or individual plates, create a bed of chopped romaine lettuce. Layer with shrimp, sliced hard-boiled eggs, halved tomatoes, avocado slices, cucumber, red onion, and black olives if using.
  3. Drizzle the chilled dressing over the salad or serve it on the side. Garnish with lemon wedges for an extra touch.
