  2. In a large bowl, mix glutinous rice flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, and butter.
  3. Gradually add hot water until the mixture is moist; knead until smooth and let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Roll small portions of dough into balls.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat; fry dough balls until golden brown (about 3-5 minutes).
  6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
