Ingredients

  • Agar-agar powder
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Blend in the softened butter with a fork until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the mixture into a greased baking dish to form the crust.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, lemon zest, granulated sugar, and cornstarch. Heat water with agar-agar powder in a saucepan until dissolved, then mix it into the lemon mixture.
  5. Pour the lemon filling over the crust and sprinkle the remaining crumble on top.
  6. Bake for about 38 minutes or until golden brown on top. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
