Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg yolks, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla; mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour and salt before gradually adding to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and place on a baking sheet. Create an indentation in each ball with your thumb.
  6. Fill each indentation with lemon curd and sprinkle dried lavender flowers on top.
