40 g raw ginger root, peeled
80 g raw turmeric root, peeled

200 mL filtered water
6 pinches ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Thoroughly wash and peel the ginger and turmeric roots using a spoon or vegetable peeler.
  • Peel the lemon and oranges, removing as much of the white pith as possible for a smoother flavor.
  • Roughly chop the ginger, turmeric, lemon, and oranges into smaller pieces to help with blending or juicing.
  • Add all the chopped ingredients to a high-speed blender along with the filtered water.
  • Blend until completely smooth.
  • Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a bowl or pitcher, pressing firmly to extract as much liquid as possible.
  • Stir in the ground black pepper, which helps enhance turmeric absorption.
  • Pour into small glass bottles or shot glasses and refrigerate. Shake well before serving.
