  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped (optional but recommended)
  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons)
  • ½ cup chicken broth (or water for a lighter option)
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry; season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in mustard, red pepper flakes, parsley, dill, lemon juice, broth, and cream; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet, cover, and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
