  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 4 cups green lettuce (chopped)
  • ½ cup grape tomatoes (sliced)
  • ¼ cup dill pickle (chopped)
  • ¼ cup red onion (diced)
  • 1 avocado (sliced)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • ¼ cup sweet relish
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar (or lemon juice)
  • ½ teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Heat a medium-size skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet. Break up the meat as it cooks.
  3. While cooking, sprinkle in salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Continue cooking until the meat is browned and no longer pink.
  5. Remove the cooked meat from heat.
  6. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
  7. Stir in dijon mustard and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined. Allow cheese to melt.
  8. In a medium-sized bowl or plate, start layering: chopped lettuce as the base, top with cooked meat mixture, add sliced tomatoes, chopped pickles, diced red onion, sliced avocado, and more shredded cheese if desired.
