  • 1 large egg (plus enough milk to make 1 cup)

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast

  • 1/4 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup sugar mixed with 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 5 tablespoons butter (room temperature)
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by mixing and kneading all dough ingredients until smooth. Let rise in a greased bowl for 1-2 hours.
  2. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread room temperature butter, followed by a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar.
  3. Roll tightly into a log, cut into pieces, and place them in a greased baking pan. Let rise again for another 45-90 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Prepare frosting by beating cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Frost warm rolls generously.
